ANNOUNCING #WORDS4WINE

As part of its sponsorship of the annual Open Book Festival, Leopard’s Leap Wines is very excited about a new initiative that will run for the duration of this Cape Town-based festival from 7 to 11 September 2016, called: #Words4Wine.

#Words4Wine encourages those who love literature, who understand the importance of reading and who have books to share, to drop off their pre-loved (or even new!) books at the allocated Open Book Festival spot and in exchange, receive a glass of Leopard’s Leap wine!

“Leopard’s Leap has identified literature as one of its brand passions and we are not only excited about our involvement with Cape Town’s finest literature festival, but also the #Words4Wine project. We like to make a difference,” says CEO Hein Koegelenberg.

Books will be categorised and distributed to libraries and schools in need of reading material. If you would like to join this exciting project, visit us during the festival to drop off a book, enjoy a glass of Leopard’s Leap wine and discuss the possibilities. Otherwise, visit our Projects page to find out how you can get involved and make a significant and sustainable impact.

Join us at the Open Book Festival spot at the Homecoming Centre Stadium (corner of Caledon and Buitenkant Street), 15A Buitenkant Street, District 6, Cape Town, on:

7 – 9 September, 17:00 – 18:00

10 September, 15:00 – 17:00

11 September, 13:00 – 15:00
