Do you love the idea of inviting friends over for a festive end-of-the-year celebration? It is such a lovely gesture, but often challenging in more ways than one. At an already hectic time of year, you have to find the time to plan a special event, cook delicious recipes and decorate according to a theme - and then play host, provide entertainment for adults and kids alike and eventually clean and organise your whole world again. It’s a tall order – not to mention, expensive…
But we have a solution!
Introducing: A Festive Feast @ Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards
Invite your friends (at their own cost if you like) to join you at Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards – all dressed up in festive attire! Host your own festive table (that you can decorate to your liking), while we take care of a fabulous festive meal, drinks, service and entertainment and of course all the planning and cleaning.
Cocktail Hour
Join us for a cocktail hour in the Leopard’s Leap gardens with live music and complimentary Leopard’s Leap Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir. (The full Leopard’s Leap Bar is available to purchase alternative wine or drinks.)
Add your own touch!
Do you like a theme? Invite your guests to dress up and you can even decorate your own table! Your table will be set with all the crockery, cutlery, stemware and serviettes you require, but you are invited to decorate according to your theme on arrival or during the cocktail hour.
Wine & Dine
Start the evening with snack platters on your table for a starter to share. Platters consist of pork bitterballen, pickles, hummus, garlic aioli, a selection of cheese, biltong, droëwors, marinated olives, seasonal fruit, sourdough bread, butter and jam. (Starter platters are optional and can be ordered on the evening.)
For mains, enjoy the famous Leopard’s Leap Rotisserie and self-help Harvest Table menu that includes a variety of juicy cuts of meat cooked on the Rotisol spit and a wide selection of seasonal sides and salads – with a festive interpretation – as well as a variety of fun, festive desserts. (R440 per person – includes dessert, service fee and gratuity).
Say cheers with the versatile selection of Leopard’s Leap wines available at tasting room prices, Leopard’s Leap festive wine cocktails and a selection of gin and mixers, beers as well as soft drinks and juices.
Fun for all
Leopard’s Leap is super family-friendly and we will provide child-minders to help look after the little ones. We have a play park, beautiful big gardens, a bicycle pump track and will be packing a special festive-inspired picnic box dinner for kids consisting of a chicken burger, apple juice, snacks and sweet treats.
