Restaurant Manager

Leopard’s Leap Wines in the Franschhoek Valley requires a person with a positive, energetic and enthusiastic outlook and the ability to function well under pressure, to join the Restaurant team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • assist in overseeing daily operations
  • co-ordination of restaurant activities
  • dealing with guests’ inquiries
  • liaison with kitchen and marketing department
  • organising of functions and related gatherings
  • staff management
  • stock control
  • cashing up
  • ad hoc administrative duties

Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:

  • a qualification in hotel management, or related tertiary training
  • at least four years’ experience in a similar position
  • general knowledge of food and wine
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent people skills
  • problem-solving abilities
  • attention to detail
  • willingness to work weekends, public holidays and functions
  • own transport

Leopard’s Leap Wines offers competitive remuneration, commensurate with the extent to which the above requirements and responsibilities are met.
