2018 PROGRAMME OF COOKING DEMO’S!
Since introducing a special programme of Cooking Demo’s around its centre-piece Kitchen Table, Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards have been entertaining those passionate about all things culinary to an exceptional experience of cooking, eating and wining!
The amicable Chef Pieter de Jager will be demonstrating thematic dishes while involving participants in all aspects of cooking and guiding them to better understand dishes and recipes, to practice technique and to confidently identify tastes and finding a complementing wine match.
The Cooking Demonstration programme for the first quarter of 2018 covers a wide array of culinary disciplines and food styles – from sustainable South African seafood to the intricacies of spice, the intrigue of regionality in Italian cuisine and the pure decadence and delight of something sweet!

12 January – Coastal Road Trip
Join us on a coastal road trip – from Cape Town to Khosi Bay! Discover the wealth of sustainable seafood, learn how to prepare these delicate ingredients and enjoy a variety of recipes making the most of the fruit of the ocean.
9 February – Spices of the World
Enjoy the fragrance and variety of spices from all over the world. From sweet cinnamon to fiery chilli, intricate cardamom to luxurious saffron. Join Chef Pieter de Jager for an introduction to the intoxicating world of spice and learn to use them to their utmost in a variety of dishes.
2 March – Flavours of Lombardy
Whether it is the decadence of Risotto alla Milanese, the heartiness of Ossobuco or the traditional delight of Panettone, make an acquaintance with the charm and delight that is the food of northern Italy.
6 April – Sweet, Shweet, Swiet
Heaven to those with a sweet tooth, Chef Pieter guides guests through a tempting array of delicate pastries and moreish desserts. Sweets in all its shapes and forms!
