A HOME FOR THE CLT BOLAND PROJECT.

We are very proud of our association with the Cape Leopard Trust and the work they are doing, especially in the Boland, where their Boland Project researchers work tirelessly to set up special cameras to track the elusive mammals. Two of the CLT researchers, Anita and Jeannie, are currently living in a cottage on the La Motte estate. We are glad that we could assist them in sponsoring their accomodation, so that they are as close as possible to the region where they conduct their research.

The CLT's Limietberg Project and Survey will run until the end of September. The survey involves more than 70 cameras tracking all mammals in the Limietberg Nature Reserve, suurounding mountains and neighboring private land. So far, 9 adult leopards have already been identified, as well as 14 other mammal species. Exciting news!
