Chili Chocolate Sauce Recipe



1 bottle Leopard’s Leap Classic Merlot

500 ml beef stock

40 g 70%-80% dark chocolate

1 red chilli (roughly cut)

Salt and pepper for seasoning


Place wine and stock in a small pot on medium heat and let it simmer until it has reduced by half

Place chilli in pot and simmer for a further 10 minutes

Remove pot from heat

Break up the chocolate into small pieces and place into the pot to melt into the sauce

Season with a touch of salt and good grinding of black pepper

Serve over your choice of red meat and with a glass of Leopard's Leap Merlot.
