FRANSCHHOEK UNCORKED – WHERE THE TASTES ARE AUTHENTIC AND DELICIOUS

FRANSCHHOEK UNCORKED – WHERE THE TASTES ARE AUTHENTIC AND DELICIOUS

For the annual Franschhoek Uncorked on 16 and 17 September 2017,Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards invites  guests to enjoy true Winelands hospitality as well as an authentic and delicious #Braai4Heritage experience.

Adding to the special complementary wine tasting for Uncorked participants, guests can opt for a wine and braaibroodjie pairing! At R150 for a platter for 2, this special combination pairs three versions of the braaibroodjie – from traditional to trendy to just plain tasty – with three wines from Leopard’s Leap’s internationally acknowledged range of wines.

And because uncorking wines and lighting up a braai is all about sharing, for each wine and braaibroodjie pairing sold during Uncorked, Leopard’s Leap will donate a braaibroodjie to the local old age home, Huis Fleur de Lis, on 24 September – National Braai Day.

Chef Pieter and the Leopard’s Leap culinary team will be making the most of their brand new kitchen facilities with a special wood-fire oven and in-house braai, so guests can expect a unique braai inspiration for the popular harvest table and Rotisserie lunch.

At the same time, the family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere, wide stoep, famous Leopard’s Leap wine cocktails and live music by Newton & Co. will all ensure a fun-filled day in the Franschhoek Valley.

Valid for the entire weekend, the Franschhoek Uncorked Pass costs R150 per person and pre-booking through www.webtickets.co.za is essential. Your pass includes entry to the participating farms, a complimentary tasting glass and tastings of the wines on show.

For more info on the festival, please contact the Franschhoek Wine Valley offices on 021 876 2861, or follow @Franschhoek_SA on Twitter for regular updates.
