2 medium-size green or yellow tomatoes

90 ml water

dash green jalapeño tabasco

2 x dash bitters

15 ml vodka

30 ml Leopard’s Leap Classic Chenin Blanc

30 ml celery juice

juice of 1 lime

pinch sea salt

dash freshly ground pepper

1 cup of ice cubes

Celery leaves and yellow cocktail tomatoes for garnish.


Wash tomatoes. Cut off both ends, then quarter each tomato.

Using a blender, puree tomatoes for 2 – 3 minutes.

Remove blender cup and add water.

Place a strainer over a small pitcher and strain tomato puree and water mixture.

Place vodka, tabasco, wine, bitters, lime juice, salt, pepper and ice into the jug.

Pour into a cocktail shaker and shake for 20 seconds.

Add ice to a cup, then pour the cocktail. Garnish and enjoy!
