“No poem was ever written by a drinker of water,” the lauded Roman poet Horace was quoted saying as long ago as eighth Century BC. Like a horse and carriage, wine and literature have been celebrated partners since time eternal. It is for this reason that Leopard’s Leap Wines has fittingly partnered with the Cape Town Book Fair 2007 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 16 – 19 June.

Leopard’s Leap Wines is hosting a Wine Down Lounge, where you can pop in for a complimentary glass of its premium yet affordable wine while browsing intriguing wine-related literature on the comfortable couches. Not only that, you might even win a wonderful wine hamper. Daily highlights include readings by esteemed wine experts and wine tastings hosted by the label’s award-winning winemaker Eugene van Zyl.

Tickets are available at the Cape Town International Convention Centre at R30 per person for a one day pass.
