The Mississippi Punch was made famous in the all-time classic movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Packing quite a punch, it was Holly Golightly’s (Audrey Hepburn) go-to party drink. We share a wine-inspired version of this famous cocktail. Cheers!

Mississippi Punch


30 ml brandy

30 ml  whisky

15 ml  dark rum

55 ml Leopard’s Leap Unwooded Chardonnay

15 ml  lemon juice

2 teaspoons castor sugar


Shake all the ingredients well with cracked ice in a chilled cocktail shaker, then strain into a Collins glass two thirds full of cracked ice. Garnish with fruit – a slice of orange and a few raspberries.
