Salad Sprinkle Recipe

Salad Sprinkle

Ingredients

1 cup mixed seeds (like pumpkin, sesame, sunflower and flax seeds)
1 cup untoasted coconut flakes
1⁄4 cup black sesame seeds
1⁄4 teaspoons ground cumin
2-3 sprigs fresh oreganum or 1 Tbsp dried oreganum
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp chilli flakes `*optional

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix all the ingredients.
Stir well to combine and layer evenly on a lined baking sheet.
Roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the seeds begin to turn golden brown.
You
ll want to watch closely as this can happen fast.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool - the cooling process is when your seed mix will go really crunchy. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
