Smoked Snoek Pâté Recipe

Smoked Snoek Pâté


700 g smoked snoek, picked off the bone or leftover braai snoek.

500 g cream cheese

60 ml lemon juice

100 - 200 ml fresh cream

pinch white pepper

4 tablespoons chopped chives


Place the flaked snoek and cream cheese into a food processor and blend. Add the lemon- juice and enough cream until the mixture comes together to a smooth/spreadable consistency.

Remove from the processor and place into a mixing bowl. Season with white pepper and fold in the chives.

Place into a piping bag and use as needed.

Enjoy with a glass of 2019 Leopard's Leap Chenin Blanc!
