DYLAN LEWIS LEOPARD SCULPTURE AT LEOPARD’S LEAP VINEYARDS

The new Dylan Lewis sculpture, with Hein Koegelenberg and Paul Neethling from Leopard's Leap. Images by Pierre van der Spuy.

Internationally acclaimed sculptor Dylan Lewis has created an amazing bronze leopard sculpture that was installed at the estate entrance today. The life-size sculpture, weighing almost 400 kg, is for sale for R1,350,000.00 incl. VAT, and proceeds of the sale will go to the Cape Leopard Trust. Lewis has exhibited his art around the globe, and has recently had outdoor exhibitions in South Africa in Stellenbosch and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. He is one of only a handful of living artists to have had more than one solo auction with Christie's London.

The Cape Leopard Trust is a NGO aiming to educate the public about the Cape Mountain Leopard and protecting the environment through its research and activities. Read more about their work at www.capeleopard.org.za
