GETTING READY FOR SOWETO WINE FESTIVAL 2011
From 1 to 3 September we will be at the annual Soweto Wine Festival. This popular festival is held at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus. In 2010, the festival welcomed a sell-out audience of over 7,500 visitors to the three-night event. Despite increasing capacity with the addition of a Platinum Wine Arena, organisers closed doors early on Friday and Saturday nights.
Be sure to put these dates in your diary. At R100 per person per night, or R280 for a weekend pass, you will be spoiled for choice with more than 800 wines to taste. Tickets are limited to 2500 per night.
