LEOPARD’S LEAP A WINNER ON BOOK SA
In its quest to dominate all that is lekker in literature, Leopard’s Leap has ventured into the online realm where it’s teamed up with online South African literature portal, Book SA (http://book.co.za). Starting this July, Book SA will feature its first monthly competition, where posters to its highly popular Book Chat, will stand the chance to win an exquisite case of Leopard’s Leap wine.
Launching this past April, Book SA offers book news services, with content generated by the online community of book movers-and-shakers, including publishers and authors. With up to five updates per day, and covering all things literary, from the latest titles due for release to the challenges of making it in the local book marketplace, it’s no wonder that it already boasts over thirty regular bloggers.
According to Book SA editor and blogger-extraordinaire, Ben Williams, “The aim of Book SA is to help leverage greater exposure for local books and writers to SA’s ever-growing pool of online consumers. And with Leopard’s Leap on board, we’re enhancing the online experience for our viewers, as well as encouraging them to write more than before.”
Other book-focused information featured on Book SA includes events, a book search engine, a photo gallery for literary events, Book SA TV, and now the newest kid on the literature block, Leopard’s Leap Wines.
