LEOPARD’S LEAP CHENIN BLANC MARTINI RECIPE
LEOPARD’S LEAP CHENIN BLANC MARTINI RECIPE
Ideal for New Year’s Eve! Mix this sophisticated Chenin Blanc Martini!
Ingredients
- 100 ml Leopard’s Leap Chenin Blanc
- 25 ml Cinzano Bianco
- 25 ml Martini Rosso
- 25 ml thyme-infused syrup (see recipe below)
Thyme-infused syrup
- 250 ml sugar
- 100 ml water
- 125 ml fresh thyme
Add the 100 ml of sugar to the water and boil mixture for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Combine the remaining sugar and herbs in a food processor. Pulse until herbs are finely ground. Use immediately. Warm a small pot. Pour sugar-water and herb-sugar blend into the pot and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Makes 1 cup of syrup.
Garnish
Three litchis on a rosemary twig, with rosemary, leaves removed.
Option: Coat the glass rim with herb sugar made with basil and thyme.
Method
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
