THE TOWN OF DE RUST CELEBRATES
Our sponsorship of the annual Kwela and Rapport Dorp van die Jaar competition concluded in De Rust this weekend, when the winning town had a 'makietie' to celebrate their status as South Africa's favourite town. Musicians including Emo Adams, Snotkop, David Fourie and MoniQue performed, while local drum majorettes and food stalls lent a festive air. A donkey cart competition was held, and Leopard's Leap wine was served at specially designated stands and in the town's restaurants.
